Our Mission

ExplorTech provides educational and real-life experiences for special needs students through fundraising events and recreational/social family gatherings. We also provide original classroom curriculum and educational materials for families based on current educational research into the impact of Immersive Digital Environments for special needs populations. We also donate educational apps, curriculum, and VR equipment for special needs classrooms.

How we got here: ExplorTech 2016-2021

ExplorTech, 1 501(c)3 nonprofit was founded in 2016 to provide technology programs, equipment, and service to Dallas-Fort Worth area students, schools, and families. From 2016 until 2020 we worked in the Poolville, Perrin-Whitt school districts and at the East Fort Worth Montessori Academy.

Where we've been: Technology Programs

ExplorTech's first programs provided technology programs for students in public, private, and home schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We offered Robotics programs through municipal community centers and public and private schools. Our programs fostered technical skills and creative ability and produced award-winning robotics teams in a state robotics tournament.

Where we are: Programs for Special Needs Students

I currently teach special needs classes at Aledo High School. I apply my educational background, and experience with my students to research how 21st-century technology benefits special need students. We offer family outings, and we provide donated curriculum, activities, equipment, and other items to students, families, and teachers at public, private, and home schools.
